About
I am currently a Staff Software Engineer at Color on the TIDE team (our Infrastructure and Developer Efficiency team), where I am responsible for our TypeScript tooling, developer workflows, and company-wide AI tooling initiatives. I am also an active part of the company's Frontend Guild, maintaining our frontend codebase and pipelines and setting standards across our web applications. Previously at Color, I contributed on the Core Services team building core frameworks like billing, auth, faxing, and emails.
I have previously worked in the Payments and Civics teams at Google when I have contributed to Google's invoice document generation pipeline which is responsible invoicing a majority of Google's B2C and B2B revenue across the globe. I've also worked on the ETL pipeline which goes into service Political data on Google Search. Before that I've worked as a contractor for the Energy Information Administration working on Analysis and Projection and the Short-Term Energy Outlook Data Browser.
I obtained my degree in Computer Science from UMD while also taking courses in Philosophy and competing in many Hackathons.
I have a strong interest and focus in the developer velocity and infrastructure space, particularly building fast build systems, modern TypeScript tooling, and developer-facing AI tooling.
Personal
As a first-generation immigrant, my family moved from India to the United States in 2006 to provide better educational opportunities for my siblings and I. This unique cultural background has significantly influenced my personal and professional life, as I strive to balance the values of my Indian heritage with American culture.
